FIC: Bruised 1/1, FR13, Willow/Angel interaction
For some reason the colour purple is something that I almost always equate with bruises, which is why whenever I encounter this prompt, regardless of fandom, I write about someone being bruised.

As he stared down at the trembling redheaded girl covered in bruises, he feels his demon smirking in his head. Angel sinks to the floor and hides his hands in his face as he regrets what he has done. It had all started when Willow had come to him to apologize for failing at casting the curse. The innocence that he had seen in her green eyes had enraged him. How dare she come to with innocence in her eyes and try to apologize for what she had done? He hit her before he knew that his fist was swinging. And the moment that his fist connected with her soft delicate skin, Angel felt a sense of release in his body. She was to blame for what had happened to him during the years that he had spent in Hell, even if they had only passed as a few months for everyone else. She was to blame for every ounce of pain that he suffered because she had failed him twice. Once when she had first attempted the curse only to be interrupted by Drusilla, and then twice for being a fool to try casting it again when he and Buffy had been in their deadly battle at the mansion. Not that Willow could have known but it didn’t matter. All that mattered was that he made her suffer like he had suffered.
”I’m sorry,” Willow whispers and it breaks his heart and causes him more pain than any of the torture he had experienced in Hell.
