Lord Voldemort stared at the unconscious mudblood witch lying in front of him as he made his plans. Normally he would have never have bothered with a common mudblood, but this was no common mudblood. She was an untrained witch with power that almost rivaled his. He briefly felt regret that his Death Eaters had been so successful in destroying the Wizarding structures in America. Then again, the fact that the old fool Dumbledore had ignored the Americas and the fact that she was untrained worked to his advantage. He had control of Wizarding Europe, but there was still a resistance led by the mudblood Granger and the Weasleys. With this witch at his side, he would finally be able to squash the resistance like the bugs that they were. As she woke up, he put a slight smile on his serpentine face.

“I see that you are finally awake my little witch,” Voldemort said in a clam tone.
“Y-yes.”
”There is no need to be afraid of me. I have an offer for you, would you care to hear it?”
”Okay,” Willow replied, the fear she felt still evident in her voice.
“I am a very powerful wizard, my dear, and I would be willing to teach you many things. Things that would make you more powerful and that would help you control your magic.”
”N-no,” Willow stammered as she paled at the thought if more power racing in her veins.
“The power will always be there and I can teach you so much that those women playing at being witches could ever teach you. I am a true wizard and I could teach you so much about the magic that runs in your veins,” Voldemort explained in a gentle tone as he ran his wand against her arm tracing a pattern.

Willow trembled under his touch and she was afraid of him since he looked like a demon from one of her nightmares. She didn’t know how she had ended up where she was and it frightened her. The last thing that she remembered was going to sleep in the room at the retreat Giles had taken her to. Something in her told her to be wary of the man but at the same time the magic in her veins seemed to respond to him.

”What could you teach me?”
”I could teach you control. I could even teach you the magic of life and death. You could even bring back your loved one.”
”I-I can’t. Osiris said that she couldn’t be brought back,” Willow said as a tear ran down her cheek.
“My dear little witch, you’ve been praying to weak gods. I could teach you how to wield the power that you possess without relying on ancient and powerless gods.”
“What do you want?”
”Your loyalty, your allegiance, it’s not that much to ask for when I can give you the power of life and death. It’s such a small thing to request for all that I am offering you, Willow,” Voldemort said as he offered her his hand.
“Okay,” Willow replied as she placed her hand in his cold one.

All she could see was a joyful reunion with Tara and how good it would feel to be back in her lover’s arms. She never once questioned the offer that this wizard presenter her, just the final outcome that his offer held.
