and sometimes when you don't know the person on the level i do....you shouldn't assume things. chad maybe self destructive....but he does have a loving heart. and he would do nothing to abuse or neglect his own child. b/c he did nothing to hurt me or abuse me when we dated. he actually put forth alot of effort for sometime towards me. i was once like chad. almost exactly....and now i'm completely different. believe me...chad will make the change for the better and if not....well only in time will he realize what he's given up. but still, he should have the right to be around her and love her. underneath his little attitude on life mr. chad has suffered alot in his life that he hasn't been able to accept and him having a child will help him in many ways redirect himself. things shouldn't be assumed about a person just b/c they've fucked up alot. they keep fuckin up b/c they have nothing to hold onto...chad finally has that if he will open up and let her in. this is huge step for chad just fessing up to shit and wanting to help out. i've got plenty enough common sense to know when and when not to let chad in. besides, it's my responsibility to keep my small family from falling apart. i refuse to have my child never know chad. b/c i won't see her hurt and confused like he is now over the issue of a dad.
