It is day #1 of my 3 day weekend. I have spent the morning doing lots and lots of work for my web design business - billing, updates, designing. I've gotten a lot accomplished.
I was then treated to a surprise visit from David who was stopping over after his guitar lesson. It was nice to see him and I gave him some sewing needles for his machine (he has to fix his dog's coat and wants to do it himself on his machine) as well as some other stuff. He gave me Adobe Fireworks CS3 since he's a good boyfriend like that (a real live, legal copy with a legit serial number! Love him!)
He helped me install it and I called his sister - she and her husband are going to come see me in the murder mystery dinner show. Very fun.
Last night, Dave and I went to WalMart - my first time there ever - since he had a gift certificate there. (He had returned some DVDs and WalMart was the only place who would take them back - so he had some money to spend there) We got some popcorn, Wedding Crashers and the Corpse Bride. We ended up watching the Corpse Bride.
I finished the Agatha Raisin series book #19, the last one that is currently on the market. I went to the library the other day and took out 3 classics - The Black Tulip, My Cousin Rachel and The Beautiful and the Damned. Twilight and Harry Potter can only go so far. I'm going to now mix up my reading a bit and have started My Cousin Rachel.
That has been my life for the past 24-36 hours.
