10 days to my 25th birthday. That's scary.
The weekend was absolutely wonderful, and I'm sad to see summer go. This summer didn't totally suck, but it wasn't the "best ever" either. I had been looking forward to a trip with Dave all summer, and just when I thought it wasn't going to happen, we had a wonderful time at the LBI house with beautiful weather, great beach days, good shopping, and fun with friends. I'm really happy he is such a major part of my life - that sounds so cheesy - but we get along so well, I love it.
Yesterday I had bad cramps for the majority of the day, which was pretty terrible. That normally doesn't happen, so it was not fun. I took a long nap in the morning, and when I woke up did a lot of work for web clients. I had been planning on using all of Monday to work, but that didn't happen. However, I did get a lot completed, and will just have to do more tonight as well.
After that, I went food shopping for a BIG order. It took over an hour, but the house is now stocked with everything. Very cool.
I then rushed to take a shower and get ready, and Dave and I joined his family at John and Lisa's house for an end of summer dinner. Thorsten, Michelle, Thorsten's father, Mr. B and Mrs B were all there and the food was great. I was very excited about spinach dip with sour dough bread that Michelle had made. Yum.
After dinner, I did my laundry at Dave's since we haven't had a chance to get a new machine yet.
My calendar is already filling up for September. It's crazy!
