Friday night, Dave stayed over my place before the wedding. He came over around 10 and brought me white chocolate mousse TCBY frozen yogurt. Yum. We fell asleep shortly after, and Saturday morning was the big day!
Dave left my house at about 7:30 to do pictures with the groomsmen. I met him at the church at 9:30 - where I did my duty of handing out programs with Lisa. The ceremony was really nice, and I read my passages without any issues (yey!) The reception location was gorgeous. I took pictures with the family during the cocktail hour and ate really yummy food.
Michelle's husband is from Germany, so there were relatives there from Germany. I "hooked up" Martine, a 20 year old from Germany with Dave's cousin. Dave saw Martine dancing alone, and told me to go dance with him - he said "he wants to go back to Germany and say that a hot American girl danced with him." I should also add the Martine was absolutely gorgeous, haha. So, I went up to him and said hi and danced. I told him there were girls there his age, and he got all excited, and after we danced, I introduced him to Ginny. The two of them then danced together for the rest of the wedding, and it was so cute!
After the wedding, I went to the after party at Dave's cousin's house. I was getting a bit tired by that point, but stayed while Dave smoked a cigar with the guys and we all just hung out a bit more. I left my shoes in the car by this point since I got two terrible blisters, even though my shoes are flat and I've worn them many times before. They are also well made shoes, not from a cheap store or anything, so I was really annoyed that they hurt that badly! Yikes.

She had a really nice wedding day - the weather was beautiful, the ceremony was nice, the reception location was gorgeous, and there were about 175 people there. Fun day!!
As I was walking from the church to my car, someone stopped me on the street and told me how much they loved my dress which made me feel good - I don't always love wearing black to weddings, but I do like this dress. It's the dress I bought
this day for the Surflight reunion gala. At the reception, a lot of people asked Dave and I "when were we going to be next".....
