Well, I did it. I finished the secret garden embroidery.

I stopped working on it at the end of last summer since life just got busy and I was working on finishing my MA degrees. And now it is finished. I have just been determined to finish it, and today was the day. I sat outside by the pool for the majority of the day and stitched. The water is 72 degrees now, which is a bit cold for me, but it was still nice. My dad and I were out there all day. Dave came over as well later in the afternoon and we swam together. After that, Dave and I went to his aunt's house to celebrate his grandmother's 95th birthday.
I then came home, started watching the Olympics, and finished the embroidery.
Before lunch, I did some yardwork with my mother. Fun fun.
Our washing machine is still out. I hate wearing clothing and using towels since I'm then reminded that I can't wash them easily. And, I have a bathing suit, pool towel for Dave and I and shower towels. Sucks.
