(no subject)
I think I mentioned that I bailed out of work early yesterday. I gave myself an assignment: build a compost bin. I was pretty sure we had some extra fencing material, and wire, so...
But first I had to clean out this garbage bin that had been used to store flowerpots, and lo and behold I notice it's a compost bin! So I emptied it, washed down all the many flowerpots inside it, and put them in order and storage. Then started a compost heap!
Next up (though by then it was nearly bedtime) I identified a few more plants, specifically Daylilies and Hibiscus (sp?).
Today after work I picked up a birdfeeder and a few other things, and we'll see how today goes. I am considering a shopping trip, to get some shirts as I have almost none, but after working all night I can barely hold my eyes open. The university area hasa lot of kewl shops, is just five minutes away, and so maybe a walk around there would be good for me. Dunno just yet. I've pretty much decided to hold off most of the rest of the unpacking until the cold weather sets in. Until then I'm going to enjoy the outside as much as I can.
I miss her so badly though, and that aspect of it just gets worse every day.
