Thanks! I was going to look for the definition of it but you gave the link before I had to 8D. I'm sure I'll only wholy understand it when I read the books, but it was enough for now ...

Wilson chatising Shamira for her language = priceless. After all, they are suposed to be the same being, right? And both her and Medea being the ones that make House and Wilson accept there's something between them is ridiculously sweet (I awwwed and awwwed and awwwed XD). So nice that they could feel the other touching their daemons (how do you do that 'ae' letter, BTW?).

Are you planning to write more on this 'verse?

Glad you enjoyed it. I've got vage plans for writing another fic in this verse at SOME point; but between FECD, the film noir/pulp fiction AU, and the betteronvicodin karaoke fic, I've got enough on my plate.
As for "æ," I seriously just copied and pasted it throughout the fic.

XD -- Exactly the approach I was planning to use. And you are doing a karaoke fic? Sweet. Good luck!

Perfect! (I've said it before, but I'll say it again, because I loved the beta version and I love the finished product.)

The last line was exactly what it needed--it ended the whole thing on a very, very satisfying (and utterly IC, since so much of their communication is non-verbal) note.

I might even start my own version of a dæmon-verse (if you don't mind).

Hurray! I'm glad it's got your stamp of approval.

And by all means, write as you will. It was originally your prompt, after all. I'm not about to claim it for my property, solely and forever and ever.

Awww.... I am now a fan of this fic too (aside from the house - dead like me fics). I read Pullman's Dark Materials and I thoroughly enjoyed this. Thoroughly. Cookies and brownies for you.

Ooh, more. I probably have more coherent comments, but I can't think of any right now. :) I love how touching another's dæmon is considered a come-on, and I love how sarcastic House and Wilson's dæmons are. Especially this bit:

Medea suddenly perked her head up, sniffing at the air. "Do you smell that?"

"What?" House asked, inhaling. He didn't notice anything unusual.

"It smells like... like... a bunch of bullshit."

*snicker* I need to use that line some time, now. Please write more in this universe (as long as it doesn't interfere with FECD).

I'll go back to this verse eventually. I'm planning on finishing up FECD first though.
Glad you enjoyed it!

You-- I-- I can't...

You write shameless eighties pop seduction and His Dark Materials crossovers (of which I've only seen one before)? Can you...be more perfect? Seriously, will you, like, marry me? I promise I'll provide well, as long as you write a steady stream of amazing House/Wilson fan fiction.

Um, please?
