I only saw the movie once, so I wouldn't be able to tell if the dream boundaries/rules were okay, if the fic went into that. Just to let you know.

You're fabulous. And it doesn't really deal with canon stuff at all. It's mostly about how my brain decided that Eames was really Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes.
