A Change Will Do Me Good
It's finally time for something I've had in the works for a while now. I'm leaving LiveJournal.
Don't worry! I'm not shutting down my blog. Just the opposite in fact. I'm moving it to a brand new home that is a lot more "me."
It will be a little strange to make this transition after coming here to write for the last 6 years. LJ has been a good home. But I'm ready to move to a space all my own, which means a handful of very wonderful things:
1. We will all be able to enjoy looking at an adorable site design.
2. You won't have any more ads popping up on every page.
3. If you have an RSS reader, you can now add me to it.
4. There's a photo gallery, which means now I can upload pictures to that page as soon as I take them. Now you don't have to refer to a specific entry or link out to a photo site.
As I explain in my welcome message on the new site, I've only had time to copy over a fraction of the content from here so far. Which means this page will still be available for some time to come. But I will be working on chipping away at all of these entries and getting both them and their comments on the new site.
