Boo, you didn't get the day off after getting a wisdom tooth pulled?
Tough lady.

Hell, I went to work the afternoon after having a vasectomy in the morning. In the words of the Fabulous Thunderbirds, is that Tough Enough? ;)

My grandfather got mad about waiting too long in the ER and walked up on a broken leg.

How about that?

My old man had six inches of colon removed. They sent him home after two days because he was driving the nurses nuts; he wouldn't stay in his room. He was out with his IV tree walking up and down the hall.

A week later the doctor called and got Mom. This was January in NE Iowa, mind. It was twenty below. The doc asked if Dad was up and around yet. Mom said, "He's out now walking up and down the road in front of the house."

He was eighty-one. Tough old man!

We had an old man up in the Sierra, near truckee have a tree fall on him when he was out in the woods. He sawed his own arm off and then walked home. (with no bellyachin')

When you think about it, most women do. How do you think they get a sample at your "women's wellness" visits? They physically rip out a piece of tissue (aka flesh) and drop that bloody sucker in a vial to run your tests and make a slide to check out how the cells look.

I never thought of it that way.

One of those differences between the sexes (yea, its not pc to talk about differences...)... Women definitly DO have a higher pain tollerance than men.

Hey now, guys get that too, only with a much smaller orifice.

Nothing makes for a better doctors visit than a scraper roto-rootering its way up your urethra.

I can offer Mrs. A as proof of how tough a chick can be. She's still walking ten years after the docs said she'd be in a wheelchair.
