Miami Wizards.
So, I'm listening to the HP: Goblet of Fire audio book and because of all the discussion of wizards from around the world, I suddenly thought, "Huh. I wonder what wizards from South Florida would look like?"
How would they conceal their wand when they go to the beach? Would they conceal it? Is it made of Palm Tree wood? What would their outfits look like? I couldn't imagine wearing a cloak in this heat. It'd have to be some sort of... I have no idea. Maybe it would be all white robe/suit like some of the Santeria priests and priestesses? That's more Afro-Caribbean though... I would like to think there would be a more of a variety in colors and styles. Like what would be the equivalent to a Hawaiian T-shirt for magical folk?
Parrots would be used instead of owls of course.
