The count down begins...
We are now 7 days from leaving for Ohayo con! My thought monsters are all running as fast as they can and I'm soooo far behind. Four cosplays for this con... exactly ZERO finished. The Senshi cosplays are about 90% complete.... We have to finish the sleeves and add the ribbon to the gloves and the boots. The pieces for Quatre's vest are all cut out but I have to buy the right color thread before I finish that one.... we still have to buy the shirt and kahki's. I have to buy the material and pattern to make the pants for my Duo cosplay.... all in all I'm soo screwed.
BTW, I'm still trying to figure out how many little girls puppies I kicked in a past life to earn all the bad luck I've had lately... For those who don't know the reason for this question, let me run it down for you: Ran out of gas on the way home for thanksgiving, had to move back to saginaw, two (not one but TWO ) flat tired on the drive back to Saginaw which turned a three and a half hour trip into something closer to ten hours. Forgot to pre reg for Ohayocon (my fault, too much on my mind). Problem with the wig order for Cait's Quatre and Sailor Mars cosplays so we probably won't have them in time for Ohayocon. Last, but not least, I just dropped $412.85 on car repairs. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that it can't get worse cause I can think of a couple hundred ways that it could... it could be a whole hell of a lot worse but i still think I pissed Fate off somewhere along the way.
As for Ohayocon, Cait and I are excited and nervous all at once (not a good combination with our collective attention spans and this being her exam week and all). I hope everything works out cause I think we both need the break that it really will be for us.
