Still alive and writing... when I'm not sleeping
So, I've been out of the country for three months in a row now and need to really catch up on some sleep. Rest assured that once the purple/black circles under my eyes have receded to a mere dark gray I'll pick up my computer for writing again. I'm also on holiday for two weeks in August which is frankly all I'm living for at the moment.
Yesterday, during a bout of insomnia I invited a couple of my friends over and we watched the cracktastic/seriously good (I can never decide which one it is) Thor. The engineer among the group who saw the movie for the first time just frowned, frowned some more and finally cracked during the "trying to pull the hammer from the stone" scenes. "Why isn't anyone just trying to transport the stone? Seriously, they have this whole secret agency building a mobile city around it and nobody just tried excavating and transporting the stone? What are they, stupid? I you can't fit the part rearrange the frame!" We broke down laughing. Leave it to the engineer!
