Okay I’ve done some meditating and I read a book called The Art of Zen (and Faking It) once, and so I thought this topic would be kind of fun to write about.
The Art of Meditating:
Tip: Meditate helps your concentration and lets you forget anything that’s bothering you- IF you’re good at it!!
- First find a quiet spot with no disturbances. It should be a dim or dark place since that helps.
- NO traditional stuff for yoga! Or anything! Just sit down on a bed, floor, or something and sit in a way that makes you comfortable- NOT in the weird, painful pretzel yoga type thing. (Heh Heh!)
- Then completely concentrate on your breathing. Like air in, air out. Air in, air out. The hard thing is to ONLY concentrate on your breathing. Most people, when doing these silent things, have their brains roam around and think about everything.
- Once you can concentrate completely on your breathing, you are an expert meditating person.
- Note- this may take a long time to accomplish. You need to keep meditating!
So that’s it. If you want to just clear your mind, meditate!
I know this is kind of a joke and it may be kinda dumb but it's random, so yeah.
