Originally uploaded by heids9584a very long time ago, (well maybe only 12 years) i worked at a fabric store. at that time i didn't know how to knit (it wasn't all the craze again, yet) two older ladies came in and started asking me all sorts of questions about knitting and yarn, eventually one started yelling at me for not knowing much about yarn or being able to help them. she later informed me that she was a nun and would pray for me. (apparently 17 year olds are supposed to know everything about knitting??) anyway, that was my oh so not okay experience with knitting and nuns. cheryl was working with me, who also doesn't know how to knit, so this year i made her socks and mittens. Christmas is on my schedule this year, so it's just a little late.
Barley_Grass, if you read this, thanks for teaching me to knit! Socks are offically conquered!
