its been interesting lately. too busy, too little sleep. saw matrix 3 last night - yeah, funniest movie ever. amazing special effects, worse script than the 2nd one (is it possible? i didnt think it could get much worse than "i love you too damn much" and him reaching into her body and pulling out a bullet - either his hand would have passed through the bullet, or it would have effectively shot her a second time as he pulled it out.... yeah.. anyways). i found the funniest review for that movie at
http://www.slantmagazine.com/film/film_review.asp?ID=678 . of course there was teh required dance/orgy/nudity scene thrown in just because (at least this time it had a little relavance to the plot in how the french dude owned the club, but on the same note, didnt he have a restaurant last time? was that not provacative enough?) and then you have quotes like "we will die, but we'll give them hell before we do!" and "youve already brought me back to life once. its my time now. kiss me first though." and then.. bam.. dead before the kiss is over. how tragic that they couldnt find a better way to do that. and REBAR??? in a METAL ship??? take into account 1) rebars only in cement 2) there was no cement 3) both were buckled in, yet trinity (who neo passionately refers to as "trin" through the movie) gets thrown out and neo doesnt and 4) the rebar would have already had to be exposed BEFORE the crash for it to be that far out of the metal ship in which it doesnt exist anyways!!! but they did find a way to cure neo's bad acting skills and his ability to not portray any other look other than confusion: blindfold him!!!! nevertheless, great special effects though.
in other news, its homecoming weekend. yay. sucky parade, sucky gator growl, and then a 1 pm game in which it'll probably rain. yay. sounds like fun to me.
