I figured I would update quick because its been a super long time. oops.
Stonehill is in the final four tonight. Um, crazy? yes. I'm not there and it makes me sad. Especially since I have yet to pick up a book and that is why I am here. To study. Because the Amazing Race is this weekend, and I can't back out of that (not that I'd want to). But anyway, thats excellent, and everyone should watch it on NESN (if you get NESN...), and if we win, you can watch it on CBS Saturday @ 1 or 1:30. Super.
I have a few topics I would like to discuss now.
I was watching Veronica Mars (ep 2x15, "The Quick and the Wed"), and, unless I'm just too focused on the Howard Stern and Oprah indecency scandals we were talking about today, in which the term "tossed salad" was explained and blah blah blah, I'm fairly certain Dick Casablancas said Aaron Echolls was getting some while in prison. Now, don't get me wrong. I laughed. And OK, maybe he slimmed down because of actually eating multiple tossed salads instead of crab whatever he tried to make Logan that time, but I'm pretty sure Dick was referring to the other kind of tossed salad, and OMG. Where is the FCC this time? Not to mention Dick and Logan throwing the "shocker". Maybe its a good thing Veronica Mars has less of an audience. I wonder if they'll get away with these things on the CW.
This was a fantastic movie. Like, fantastic. Suspensful, entertaining, good effects and whatever, and with an actual message. Although I was kind of dissapointed with the whole head shaving thing. It was necessary at first, when she's in jail. But then when its not really jail... I dunno. I just felt like that was a big let down. I know if impacted her and her choices, but THAT was why her head was shaved. THAT was the big reason why Natalie Portman had no hair? It wasn't real. It lost all impact when I found that out. And then the little "love" story, and the kiss. That turned me off. But OVERALL I loved it. Especially the colors. Which might be random, but whatever. I can't imagine living in a world like that. But I see things that suggest it might happen (not the civil war and everything, but a completely censored world). Scary.
