Victory Rolls are not edible at this time.

SO I GOT BOOKS. On a history (specifically WWII) kick, apparently, because I got The Irregulars, which is about Roald Dahl and the other British men who were sent to Washington in late 1941 or early 1942, to convince the US that NO REALLY, THEY /DID/ WANT TO GO TO WAR. I also got two memoirs by boys from Easy Company - Parachute Infantry, by David Kenyon Webster, which was one of the main sources of information for "Band of Brothers", and Call of Duty: My life before, during, and after the Band of Brothers, by Lynn "Buck" Compton.

They are all good so far, though I'm only about 20 pages into any of them. XD

Also, because history kicks are FUN, and I like being a throwback even if I don't get to be most of the time due to very limited funds, I decided to see if I could get my hair into victory rolls. Guess what?

They're very quick-and-dirty, relatively clean hair, no product, they would've fallen apart in minutes, and the rest of my hair is a bit on the straight side to look right with them, but I am pleased by these results. (I also can manage sort of faux!victory rolls that look somewhat less strange with my straighter hair, though I have no pictures as of yet.)

Though, because I'm happy with the outcome, I must confess that the colour in those pictures inaccurately represents my current colour.

Oh, yeah. I missed being a redhead. :D

Icon apropos of nothing. I need some BoB icons.
