wow, so it's been 2 weeks since i posted
doesn't feel that long! i've been busy the last couple weekends. i will definitely have plenty of free time this weekend, so a more thorough update will come then. here is a run-down of yours truly as of late:
~i had a pretty good birthday with great people and great times. more specifics this weekend.
~i am being cross-trained in the only thing system i don't know how to use at humana this week and next. it's a DOS-based system (gulp) called CAS and it's pretty difficult, but i'll do fine. mroe about this later, of course....
~i have come to realize that i truly, deeply care about some people that have come into my life- lasting relationships that i know i will have forever. on the flipside, i am growing tired of feigning interest in the people i don't care to keep around in my life, and i am tired of feeling like i am always the one to put forth effort into some waning relationships. it hurts my feelings.
~i am reading the southern vampire series that is the basis for the HBO show true blood. THEY ARE SO GOOD!!!
~i will watch american idol this season for one person only: adam lambert. omg, seriously, is there even a competition here?! as a vocalist, i realize he is head and shoulders above EVERYONE else in the competition. we acutally voted last night, which was a first for both greg and myself.
~the watchmen was good...not brilliant or mind-blowing, but good. silk spectre was a horrible actress but rorschach was amazing.
~chris cornell's new album is also good. it's a great pop album, that's for sure, but it's kinda banal. i dunno..it obviously sounds like timbaland puked all over it, but i appreciate the fact that he researched chris and maintained a lot of his prior music's chord progressions and whatnot in some of the songs. interesting indeed. i miss euphoria morning...
ok, due to the lameness of daylight savings time and my early training schedule, i haven't been sleeping well, so it's time to dope myself up with melatonin and watch AI in a half hour. yeeha! more this weekend...
