days 7 and 8 of positivity meme
day 7:
ok, so this is work related, like 2 of my other days were, but this is a really great thing! as of yesterday, i was chosen to be a subject matter expert (or SME!) for a huge new group of ours becoming effective on 1/1/09. it's ohio health, one of the biggest hospital groups in columbus. apparently, this is the 'baby' of the director of our entire cincinnati center, so it is a huge deal that we take care of these groups with 'flawless execution.' *gulp* as the SME, i will work closely with supervisors and company contact leads to ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding this group. so, needless to say, i will be super busy, but it'll be awesome experience and i will hopefully be getting some more mad props. :) i am so lucky to have such a killer job, for real..it has its ups and downs, but let me tell you, it is AWESOME to be appreciated for working hard. suck on THAT!! :-P
day 8:
i had tons of christmas cookies and candy and it filled me with joy. :) :)
tomorrow we are headed to toledo when greg gets off of work! i don't have to work tomorrow (they approved my request on MONDAY- finally!), so i will spend the morning packing and getting our gifts together. i wish i got friday off so i had a longer time at home, but oh well. the roads should be fine- especially compared to today. we got hit with some sleet that froze the roads over, so the drive home took me about an hour. boo.
mmmm, time for sleep. peace out!
