weird ass dream!!
i normally don't have terribly vivid dreams, and when i do they are either short and sometimes even in patches. but this dream was so bizarro i couldn't help posting about it!
so the dream begins with kelly. this might be because i had lunch with her yesterday. we were eating somewhere in bowling green, and she decided to take me to her apartment because i have never seen it. she tells me her new place is by campbell hill, which is the complex that both her and myself used to reside. i asked her why she didn't just live there, and she started bawling about how they didn't let you have babies there. i consolled her and she took me to her place, which ended up being behind campbell hill (it didn't look like it, but i knew it was in my dream). her place was cute, and there was pictures EVERYWHERE. i remember a black table in the room. anyway, in the dream i had to pee, so i used her bathroom. her bathroom was freakin HUGE: like, living room huge! there was another table with pictures on it, and her toilet was huge as well. so big i almost fell in! haha. anyway, i exit and tell her that audioslave is reuniting on new years eve (apparently, it was the day before in my dream) and ask her if she wants to come. she said no because her babysitter bailed on her.
cut to new years eve: erin and i are heading to see audioslave with a huge group of guys we just met. we get to the venue, which really is just like a high school gym with bleachers set up, and a huge stage. the lights dim and the band comes on....and erin and our guy friends rush the stage on tom's side. at this point, erin realizes she forgot to wear her tom shirt so she gets super upset. i began jumping up and down and pointing at my shirt repeatedly, which tom couldnt see because the stage was so high. so some of the guy lifted me up so he could see it. he smiled and nodded, much like how he did at the last audioslave show i went to :) erin, in the meantime, was lifted completely onto the stage and was grinding and humping the air, lol. WEIRD!! the band kept taking little breaks, like 10 minutes or so, before coming back to the stage. one of the times i got backstage and i met tom. nothing happened, but i ended up telling him that i needed to talk to chris because i wanted to tell him that 'finally forever' is mine and greg's first dance. i told tom that i kept trying to make a sign, but i couldn't find markers to make the words dark enough. tom then suggested i just tell chris during one of their breaks, which i found reasonable. he also told me i didn't have to go back out to the audience, that i could watch the show from up on the stage.
so i go back to sit on the stage while the guys get set up, and suddenly someone bursts through the door screaming "TOM IS THE FUCKING MAN!" turns out it's stone gossard from pearl jam. he runs through the crowds and gives everyone a high five, before leaving. suddenly, rap music starts blaring and tom looks at me and is like....."come on and dance!" so i basically grinded on him for a bit, then he pushed me up and said i should dance by myself. so there i was, onstage, dancing like a rap video ho (think kendra wilkinson from the girls next door ass-shaking) while tom stood back and watched (CREEPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). i got embarasssed and invited my friends and family up, who apparently were there. they came up, and i snuck back to hang out with tom.
at this point in the dream, i realized i didn't have my engagement ring. i kept touching my finger and getting confused. so i danced with tom for a bit to this rap music, then suddenly some slow song came on. in fact, it was 'georgia on my mind.' random, right? haha. so we slow danced, and that was that. nothing really happened. then tom said it was time for the band to go back on, so i went and sat back on the side of the stage. well, they couldn't find tim. tom approached me and told me to talk to chris since tim was nowhere to be found. so i went up to chris and told him that 'finally forever' was going to be mine and greg's first dance at our wedding. his response? he told me he was insulted and the song wasn't meant to be taken that way. i was hurt, so i told tom, who told me to talk to chris's wife vicky, who was also at the show. i saw her in the audience, front and center, so i went and talked to her and told her what i told chris. i also asked her why chris would be insulted, because i thought he wrote that for their wedding reception. her response was that chris probably felt it wasn't a good fit for me, and that it took some time to find a good wedding song. she said her wedding song was 'rachel's song' from friends (which doesn't exist, as far as i know...?) and that was perfect for her. the last thing i did in my dream was look at my hand, which still didn't have my engagement ring on it. then i woke up.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?! lol....
