I told the great guy who was incredibly sweet that I wasn't so into, the truth. He said he understood also said "don't worry. it's not a big deal". But then he said it didn't work that way to be friends with him still.

I'm upset to lose a friend like him by doing the right thing.
I completely understand his stance,
but wish it weren't so.

I cried and that surprised me.
