Okay, so three hundred sit ups accomplished!
All in all it was an okay day.
I'm having a bit of a debate in the Marilyn Community 1962.
There is a book and movie called BLONDE by Joyce Carol Oates which is a novel of fiction that is based on Marilyn Monroe's life. It is true that many things in the book and movie are not accurate and sensationalized.
The question is what did the members think of the movie. Now, because I have not yet seen the movie, I brought up the book. Saying this:

I read the book. I want to see the movie. It is inaccurate but that's really not the point, as I see it. I really enjoyed it because I thought it kind of bought artistic interpretation into her life.
When we look at pictures of her or paintings or anything like that, they aren't even accurate. If you really look at it, the pictures are just how the photographer wanted her poise. How she looked in those pictures didn't represent her real self, we all know that. We know Hollywood made her into something she wasn't. She was a subject for many artists to create on, as she still is, and I'm thankful for that.

pose, i meant to say
I received one comment in agreement, the rest say that the inaccurate facts are too much to bear.
Honestly, this applies to alot of things. When the Other Boyelyn Girl came out I was in the other members position. I was screaming and yelling about the inaccurate facts and how I thought they were going to make everyone believe these horrible things about Ann Boyelyn.
So, I see where they are coming from but I still like the Blonde book. I know these things will be sensationalized.
What do you think?
