Beyond the Stars !

I have written the beginning of a story. What I would like people to do is let me know whether they think I should finish it off  or is it badly written and boring? Any comments good or bad would be appreciated. Thanks

Beyond the Stars

In a world far beyond the stars, in a place where the moon is one of many, a
tremble shakes the existence of life as they know it.

Some worlds are not meant to be found, some secrets should be left uncovered.
There is more meaning to the phrase 'ignorance is bliss' than the average human
realises.

************************************************

Vast fields of blue and pink flowers gently sway in the breeze, the colours move
for as far as the eye can see. Some would say that they were dancing, if you
listen hard enough you would swear you could hear a Waltz playing in the
background.

A young inquisitive girl finds herself in the middle of these dancers, with
innocent eyes she looks around this magical place. She gazes in amazement at the
insects around her, each animal has a smiling face, no longer are they slimy and
gross, now they are cute and exciting.

Somewhere in the distance a small voice shouts "Angela" in a sweet inviting tone
that draws her attention. Immediately she walks towards the voice, her feet move
without any effort, she almost glides across the field.

*************************************************

A mass of tiny heads struggle to see, pushing each other out of the way in a
mini battle for the prime viewing space. Tiny feet shuffle impatiently, palms
are sweaty and nerves are high. So many tiny voices whispering in curiosity,
creating a buzz throughout the cave.

Technically, although there is a cave like appearance to this room, it is in
fact the inside of a hollow tree. Not just any tree but the oldest tree in the
land. Some believe that trees watch over their land, their memories accurate and
a vast library of history and information. It therefore seems logical to use
this place of wisdom when you need a solution to a problem.

The buzz in the room grows slowly in volume, in anticipation. A little figure
steps up to the podium and knocks a little hammer three times. Silence descends
upon the room, expectations rise. He is our leader, he will know what to do!
