Well, Monday is over. Tuesday is a bit better, but to be truthful Wednesday would be more enjoyable.
Yesterday I ran into a slew of problems seemingly right after the other. I woke up to find out that my health insurance, which is usually $399 every 2 months, has shot up to $462. It really upset me. $62 is a lot to me. It's gas in my car, it's a dinner out on the weekend with friends, and mostly, it's Christmas presents for my friends and family. Now, down the drain. I then proceeded to get into a petty argument with Kevin. Plus my mom's forgetfulness has been grating on my nerves for say, the past 3 weeks.
I sold stuff at the Yule Shop Til You Drop craft show in Palos, which turned out to be an interesting experience. I had absolutely no idea how I would do, but I was willing to give it a shot being it was only $25 for a table. It was a first year craft show, so I gave it a bit of leniency. The place was pretty much full of soccer moms and old people- the type of people who are NOT interested in cute plushies. Especially the ones that don't serve any purpose. Everyone always seems to pick up the toasted marshmallows though.
I ended up coming home with close to $100, which wasn't bad for 4 hour craft show. What was completely bizarre was that no one bought any of my Christmas ornaments! So now I have a bunch of those that I'm hoping to sell soon.
All crappiness aside, I'm looking forward to this weekend, to celebrate one of my best friend's brithdays! The weekend after at the annual Christmas Santa-Con, and the following weekend celebrating Christmas with my family. AND New Years! Boo-yah!
