1. Where and when did you start RPing?
UHm... Some time ago, sophmore year? Four years? Something like that. At Fandango High. Goodness that takes me back.
2. Do you RP anywhere other than LJ?
Well... other than D&D. Along with the occasional LARP I would never admit to... no?
3. Do you play in any public games?
Paradisa and Hearts and Minds.
4. Do you prefer first-person comment spam or prose logging?
It depends on the character and my mood. Prose doesn't work for Delirium very well, but there's really not enough substance in first person for Saetan.
5. What was the first character you ever played?
Online? Delirium. I'm still using the same sn for her, actually.
6. Who's your favorite character to play now and why?
...It depends on my mood? Each one is almost like a piece of my personality, and however I'm feeling makes one of them easier or more fun to play than the others. Delirium has always been at the top of my list, though. So her, I guess. I go a little crazy when I haven't been writing her enough. It's kinda weird, actually.
7. What's the longest you've ever consistently played one character?
Delirium. There has not been a time I haven't been playing her. Which means it would be really bad if I suck at her. No one has said that yet, so I'm crossing my fingers on the being okay front.
8. What's your biggest RP pet peeve?
Uhm... It's happy fun times, I try not to get annoyed too much? It is a little annoying when other people try to push their favorite cannon points or pairings on you, I guess. I remember this once, someone was upset that I took a character from earlier on in the series than they would have liked, because there would be no romantic relationship with their character from then. I ended up dropping him over it and that kinda pissed me off. Especially since I took him from earlier because I enjoyed his character the most at that point in his development, and not for any real dislike of the pairing... Wow, ranting now. I guess that is a pet peeve.
9. Do you read RP secrets and the RP anon meme?
Sometimes. The sweet ones make me smile, and the bitchy ones just make me laugh. People have so much wank in their souls that it comes spilling out in kinda funny ways.
10. If you've played in public before, do you prefer community based or journal based games?
I've done both. They have their upsides and their down sides. Community based is a little easier, but having journal based is cool too. Just getting all the journals off an account can be a pain...
11. Would you rather play with someone who's very very IC but a mediocre writer or someone who isn't always IC (but not terrible) and a great writer?
Prose wise... good writer. First person, character all the way. Man... I feel like I'm qualifying these answers a lot. Everything seems to situational based.
12. Do you have a "RP partner"?
No. I play with the character usually, not the person. However, I do end up talking to some people more than others because they play more characters mine would talk to. But I love all the people I play with, and I don't do this to distance myself or anything weird like that, I just tend to be a terrible, terrible flake. They know I love them ♥
13. Do you ever stalk any casts, games, or players? Who?
I try to. I really do. But then my flakeyness gets in the way and I forget. But I'll read things when I catch them on a scan by? And I tend to follow characters Del needs to know things about more.
14. In your opinion, which part of an app is the most difficult/annoying?
...The getting started part? My procrastination knows no bounds. I like all of it, once I get down to it. It helps me get into character, too.
15. Are you one of those people who has to customize their character's journal layout and userinfo?
I go through spurts. I customized Del's and Martha's to hell, and then got bored and used basic things for everyone else. When I'm feeling artistic, I tend to poke around and make things spiffy, when I'm not they just get the basics.
16. What was your first game?
Fandagno High. It got kinda wanky and one area centered, though, so I split. Death note was really popular then, and I wasn't feeling the Mello drama.
17. Are there any canons you avoid tagging characters from?
Nope. Though I do have a tendency to tag cannons I know things about, mostly because I have to look things up for Del if I don't.
18. Most memorable scene in any thread?
Goodbye Romeo. Made me cry writing it. In Paradisa, though? April Fools music day. Killed me so hard~
19. Do you RP sex?
I have. I probably will again. I try to keep an open mind.
20. Do you play more males or females?
...Guys? 3 guys, 2 girls, one androgynous being. That are consistent.
21. What won't you RP?
I will try anything once. ONCE.
22. Dressing rooms: yes or no?
Not really, no.
23. Ever RPed a pairing?
Yes. Once. It was nice, and she's still hung up on him, which is ridiculous. Del clings to things for far too long.
24. Favorite place to play: musebox, open posts, public games, private games?
All of the above? The point is playing, and I enjoy doing it :)
25. Talking RP with someone else who plays your character: fun or awkward?
Both. It gives insight into how people see the character, and what they took from the show as being the most important and revealing moments. The thing is, everyone has a slightly different take, and that makes for variety without being out of character. It gets awkward when people become obsessed with the thought that their take it the only legitimate claim. If you have cannon backup for your own characterization, I feel like trying to drive someone into a corner of playing it your way is a little rude. Even for character I don't play, I like to notice the differences between players, and sometimes I comment on it. I'm never trying to be rude or pushy, I just like to know the reasoning behind people's differences.
