moskva here i come!! tickets finally all booked. went and did it all in russian, no communication errors and i even managed to get my case endings right and USE VERBS OF MOTION WITHOUT CRYING OR FAINTING.
yes, i said "i want to travel to moscow" instead of "i want to walk in moscow" or "i want to travel a little bit to moscow" or something equally stupid. this is first year stuff, i know it of course, but whenever i speak russian in a real life situation my stresses go mental, case endings disappear or just go terribly wrong, prepositions muddle and likely as not any thought of aspect goes out the window. there's too much to think about and i'm shy at the best of times.
