Right, feeling like a can string a thought process together today, which is most promising, so voila multisports update!
(To explain, this is ME playing bloody sports for 24 pissing hours. And yes, my principles have buggered off for a little holiday…)

Day started off with a lot of hockey, which was crazy good, and we won a few games and Rebecca told me i looked hot - Damn straight. (Later on, to return the favour (and also cos it was the truth,) i told Rebecca she looked beautiful, and Rebecca replied "Pippa, you've been playing too much hockey..." ) :D
After that, there was football, then basketball, and other stuff... really enjoyed dancing to Fatboy Slim's What a wonderful night with Joe and James when we'd just won basketball, ooh, and much later on also really enjoyed dancing to Laid by James with Ruth H in a strange and wild fashion, because it was about midnight and we were enjoying ourselves whilst everyone else was being lazy!! Playing cricket was also verrry good fun - funny when we were fielding because we did bugger all and gossiped, funny when we were batting because we waited in the queue and gossiped. And talked about my manly knees with Jimbob.
Fashion highlights included Chazzer's wonderful array of T-shirts, talking about bras with Rebecca and Ruth H (hockey, anyone?), Dave...thing, not Dave Grist but the other one... er, everyone knows why that was funny, let's not go there... and the other dave, for his purely fantastic headband, as he looked like a ninja princess, and also a big mushroom head, haha...
It was so cool and crazy and tiring at the same time, but as night drew in things got beyond the world of the strange, as no one really got that much sleep, and things tended towards the pure surreal... apparently my sleeping habits amused all - apparently i dropped off mid-conversation whilst resting my head in my hands (yeah, seems perfectly normal to me too..) other sleeping locations were on a bench (in the sports hall - yep, a bench) squashed in between Rebecca and Ruth in the performance hall, on James's feet, and countless other things. People falling asleep around me was lovely, especially Lyndon lying around on me and giving me permission to stroke his manboob, a lovely gesture. Was woken up from bench slumber and told to go and look at the sun rising... which even though i was stupidly out of it and stumbling all over the place, was the most beautiful thing i've seen in ages. Aaah, preeeetty...
Had to play badminton at 3 in the morning... er, nuff said... couldn't string a sentence together let alone hit a shuttlecock somewhere relevant. This was followed by me and RuthBee earing banoffee pie, which is just not a good idea, it was tasty whilst it lasted, but… just never. Ever. Again. Urgh.
Oh, and now i know what curling is! It's boring! But no, really lovely and so practical for 5 in the morning type sports...
Oh and you can all be reading this by moi and chazzer when we were tired and crazeh: http://www.livejournal.com/users/shnoozle/7704.html
Sooo, it was great. Apart from a few things which upset me, and Joe being so lovely it made me cry (lovely Joe being so concerned about me)… but really quite fine now. Results of this crazy outburst of sportiness are.... I completely ache, as does everyone else, i can't sit down or walk down stairs without moaning about the painfulness. Yep, I'm 16 and elderly.
A final note - a big well done to Team Pippa (OK it should be Team Rebecca but she was late and i felt i had to take over duties) I also enjoyed my team becauser they were brilliant and didn't mind me not playing football, and you were all sooo good!! xxx
