(no subject)
Yum yum yum....I received an order of perfume samples today and all of them are delightful. In fact, I like them so much that I've had to sort them into categories of "wear everyday", "wear once a week", and "wear once in a while." This was a wonderful surprise considering that the last order I got from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab was disappointing, at best. It's not that they don't make amazing products, but more so the fact that their scents aren't sweet enough for me. The products that I ordered from Villainess and Arcana via The Soapbox Co. were more than perfect.
I thoroughly enjoyed the suspense of waiting for these samples to arrive and I'm so happy that all of them were exactly / if not more than what I expected. I want to order full sizes of them all!!

On a completely different note, I saw something that truly amused me today. A little after 5pm I went outside on my break from work. I saw two 20-something young men approach a car making a right turn and ask the driver for a ride. The driver must have said no, and drove off, leaving the men to find a different option. They must have been hard up for a ride because instead of calling a cab (hailing a cab on that street at that hour would have been impossible) they flagged down the next best option that came along - a horse drawn carriage! The carriage driver had no passengers and must have been willing to accommodate whatever those guys wanted because not only did they hop into that carriage pretty quickly, but the driver set off with that horse at a sold trot (normally the carriage drivers make the horses stick to walking). It genuinely made me smile.
