I had to go into the hospital today to have another lung function test. Although they fucked up my appointment - again! I was supposed to have had it yesterday and seen the doctor today to get the results. So I waited and waited and waited... then saw the doctor who just gave me a mini test rather then sticking me in a pastic box. I have a lung compacity of 77%, which is low, but not to bad. Kinda normal, but lower than what I got before.
I ditzed around town. Hobat is such a beautiful city.
I bought ciggarettes. Complete contradiction after having my lungs tested.
I got a Happy Meal from McDonalds with a double cheese burger. The girl fucked up and only charged me for the double chees burger. I got a
neo pet with my Happy Meal - a purple dragon called Scorchio.
I put in a job appilication at a shoe shop.
I went to
Area 52 and bought two packs of Magic the Gathering cards. I haven't played for years, and Ian got rid of my cards (grrr) and I want to start playing again as well as teaching Dave how to play. There is a closed deck competition next month I want to enter, so I need to get more cards and practice. I'm getting a starter deck on the weekend.
I tried on the coolest dress at Ultralux by Route 66.
I looked at some pretty chill as art in an art gallery in Criterion Street.
I saw a red, retro home bar in Urban Prowler for $2500 that I so with I could get.
I drooled over a black, BMW Z3 Roadster parked opposite.
I looked at wetsuits and skate decks in both Jetty Surf and Red Herring. There's a switching chill like element 7" deck in Red Herring that I'd really like, but my trucks are too wide, so I have to go back in on Saturday to see if they have any narrower trucks as the guy I was talking to knew jack all.
I had a look at bikinis and got all depressed.
I caught a bus up to North Hobart to Hungrey Jacks and put in a job app there as well.
I caught a bus home. IAs I was getting off, they had a Radio Advert for Dave's work. I smiled as I steped of the bus and spent two minutes trying to light a ciggarette in the wind.
I walked home.
I turned on the computer.
I logged on to the net.
I updated my journal.
