Getting there.
I sent Chatpers 1-4 of my dissertation to my full committee today, all 149 pages of it. That plus the front matter (formalities, TOC, dedication, et cetera), conclusion (started, not in revisions yet), bibliography (compiled), and appendix (in pieces) will be all of it. I still have some changes to make that I already know about, but this was a huge (and scary) step.
In celebration, I put on lipstick since the first time before Elliott was born* and had a beer*. This is to distract me from how twitchy and nauseated I'll feel until I hear back from them.
