Hey dudes! I'm alive! ;-D
Thanks very much to everyone who took the time to comment and ask me where the hell I was. I'm sorry if I made anyone worry or anything.
I haven't updated in a while, partially because I have nothing to write about (not like that's stopped me in the past), and partially because I have a new laptop. My old Acer was on its last legs, so I splurged on a Dell Inspiron Special Edition.
My new computer is most excellente, if I do say so myself, but it has a Japanese keyboard which means that some of the keys are in annoying places. To use an apostrophe, I have to hit Shift + 7, for example. Guess it'll just take some getting used to.
Other than that.... yeah, nothing to report, really. I go to work, work out, hang out with RooG in the evenings. Go to sleep and repeat the process again the next day.
Let's do a TV Roundup! Why not. I'm currently watching...
Sleepy Hollow. I love this. How could I not? It has good-looking people in the lead roles, and part of it takes place during the Revolutionary War. What more could you possibly want from a TV show? NOTHING.
Downton Abbey. I like this show, even though I hate most of the characters and the ridiculous Rich White People Problems they face.
Boardwalk Empire. This is a show that could be great, but instead it's just good. I don't really mind, though. It has enough great characters to hold my interest, the performances are great, and I love the sets/ costumes/ time period.
The Ultimate Fighter. I've never watched an episode of this show before this season, because MMA bores me. Sorry. I have massive respect for the athletes, and I like watching the striking parts fine, but once the fights go to the ground, I zone out.
BUT I'm watching this season because my buddy Roxanne Modafferri (
chichiri) is on the show! And for the first time ever, I find myself really engrossed in the fighters, and subsequently, on the fights themselves. Awesome. I still get bored during extended grappling bouts, though.:/
Breaking Bad (season 2), This show FINALLY came on Hulu Japan, so now I get to watch it with RooG! He loves it, and I love it even more the second time around.
That's it for now. I leave you with this picture of RooG enjoying his new game, Grand Theft Auto V.
