Today I took the two trains and the bus back to the stupid Immigration Bureau to pick up my new visa (and pay $100, ouch). I hate that place. It takes forever to get to and it's full of baka gaijin.
I got my visa and... it's only for one year. Which means I have to repeat the whole stupid process all over again next year. Apparently my living a peaceful and productive life for nearly seven years here still does not entitle me to a 3-year spousal visa. -_____-
Should I just go for permanent resident next time? What do you need for that? Does permanent resident mean you don't have to go back to the Immigration Bureau ever again? :-D That would be great.
I stopped for lunch at Shin-Sugita, in this crappy shopping arcade called...
...Alucard. No sexy vampires here, though. I got my yearly Big Mac for lunch, and it wasn't that great cos I forgot to order it without pickles.
Then I went to Pelvic Alignment Yoga, which was great as always, and then I went home and watched Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead. I loved that movie when I was a kid.... and guess what! It's still pretty good. :-D
I don't think I ever posted pictures of our frogs on here. This is Yasegaeru:
and this is Yasegaeru with his much bigger buddy, Atamajakushi:
RooG bought them when they were both tadpoles! They get bigger and bigger every week. It's awesome. And they're so cute. ;__;
