My Weekly Craft Spam Post!

Okay, folks, here's what I worked on over the last week.

Okay, something purple for auntypsycho - in the form of Horcrux Socks, pattern by Susan Lawrence! These are worsted weight, great for chilly evenings on the couch with a cuppa and a good book, and were such a quick knit. I would definitely recommend them for an instant gratification project.

Next up I designed a set of Hufflepuff gauntlets for the Quidditch competition on the HPKCHC on Ravelry. I've added the pattern to Ravelry, as well, so if you wanna make some you can get them here (or if you're not on Ravelry here).

Then the June classes came out. My brain is so swimming with ideas that I'm having trouble snagging one and running with it! Charms class asked us to make something from an illusion chart, and I started looking at what was available. While there are quite a few, there aren't hardly any Potter themed ones! I found Hedwig, and a witches hat. That was it. SO, I jumped on the designing bandwagon again yesterday morning. Over twelve hours and SEVERAL death threats later I had a Deathly Hallows Illusion Cloth! It's on Ravelry here, and here for those of you NOT on the Ravelry site.

Today I cast on part 2 of auntypsycho 's giftie, a Hufflepuff Scarf. After 3 hours I had gotten this far:

This evening on the way home from taking Nic to pick up yet another tux we got stuck in traffic with little movement for 40 minutes, so it's now got an additional 10-15 rows complete. See? It ALWAYS pays to have portable crafts with ya!!

Well, that wraps up last week. The rest of this week - who knows? That's what is so fun about crafting for me, I can totally just work on whatever whim strikes me : )

Oh! I only posted it on starknuts , so few of you probably remember my Rose Weasley bag and story for May's Arithmancy Class. Here's the post, if you're interested. Anyway, it's been nominated for a prize in the HPKCHC group on Ravelry! You can see all of the entries here. I'm holding steady in second place, for now.
