"Disgusting is the word I'd use for some of these," Holly J stated, a cold air like you would expect from a frightening royal in her voice, "the materials are pretty good however. Decent thread counts at the least, stitching is very durable."
Once at the changing room Holly J went into one, but the door only provided modesty, not soundproofing. While Holly J picked what to try on first she kept the conversation going, "How's the city been treating you so far?" The sound of zippers filled the air as Holly J checked what zippers had a useful application and which ones were purely aesthetic. "Still not used to so many people?"

"Oh no, it's not that bad anymore. I've met a lot of new friends." It felt a little strange, talking to someone through a door, but not entirely unpleasant. "How has it been going for you? Find anyone else yet?"

"None of them were after your hair?" Holly J mocked, but in a far more playful and less cruel manner than usual for her. She peaked over the top of the door, obviously stretching to get there as her bare feet were on tiptoes at the bottom. Her face vanished from sight, and small motions could be seen over the top of the door as Holly J worked through outfits. Not coming out for Rapunzel's opinion because... well, to be honest Holly J didn't think she'd be a good judge given she's never seen fashion.
"A few people, they weren't total losers," Holly J's basic attempt at a compliment, she isn't exactly good at it. "Not anybody from home. Most of them aren't even close to the mark." Holly J sighed as she examined herself in the mirror. This outfit was passable... she guessed, it didn't suck. She wished she had Fiona or Anya's skills with thread and needle right now.

Now if only the clothes on this world weren't so awkward.
She blinked, wondering exactly what Holly J meant by that and could only assume it meant people that didn't completely annoy her, and thus earned a nod of acknowledgment in her head. Rapunzel chuckled, wondering just what kind of mayhem Holly J had been up to since she last saw her.
"Well, if nothing else you'll have interesting stories for your friends, when they finally show up." Because she hadn't lost hope that they would show up.
"I wonder...if these premade things are our only options for clothing..." Holly J might be alright sporting something like this, but Rapunzel felt uncomfortable just holding it in her hands. If only she could get a hold of some fabric, and a needle and thread...it wasn't like she hadn't been making her own clothes for years.

"If they show up," Holly J wasn't convinced they'd show up at all. Mathematically speaking, with all these 'other worlds' the chances that one of the half-dozen people she wanted to see showing up was nearly impossible. "And if I get home like hell I'm telling anyone about this little adventure."
"They are for me, I don't know enough about sewing to make something," Holly J peeked over the door again. She wondered if the fairytale princess had a plan in that naive head of hers about sewing stuff. "But if they have clothes that means they have cloth and thread somewhere. Ask around and you can probably find some."
Holly J moved around a bit more before coming out of the changing room. She was wearing some of her to be purchased items. She had on her blouse from her uniform, but the green jacket and the skirt with only three zippers. Holly J grabbed her old clothes and the items she planned to buy and folded them over her arm. "I am going to wonder what they made this cloth out of..." She joked in her mind that it was Moogle fur, but if that were true she wasn't sure she could wear this stuff anymore.

Almost absently, she added "you know, I could make you a dress or something too. It wouldn't be very fancy, but..." she trailed off, tugging at one of the shirts on the rack that only had one 3/4 sleeve that had two tiny belts going around it and came in two jarringly different colors on the same piece.

Holly J stopped at the offer of a dress. Her eyes drifting over the dress Rapunzel was wearing currently. It certainly has seen better days. The redhead drifted around the blond scrutinizing details on the dress. If this were at home Holly J would have offhandedly said no, last year she might wear something this girly but now she needed more dignified mature outfits.
But she wasn't at home, and there were some appeals to the work on Rapunzel's dress. The shoulders on both sides matched, there were no zippers, and it didn't look like it did appear to have comfort going for it. Still... letting soem girl she just met make her clothes, seemed off. "If you insist on it, but I have clothes now. Hardly perfect but at least I'll fit in better among the natives." Holly J had circled back to center again, and moved for the register once more, "Besides, you need a new outfit more than I do. And we haven't found a fabric store."
