That forlorn young woman noticed almost immediately that she was being stared at and she rose her head to look for the offender. When Dany spotted the older man watching her as he walked, she felt far safer simply by recognizing that he wasn't a fellow inhabitant of her world. The fur-lined coat caught her eye, though she straightened her back proudly and addressed him in a strong, firm voice, "May I help you?"

"I did not request aid," Dany replied matter-of-factly, not allowing herself to cower at the sharpness of his retort. "Nor had I been staring at you." This wasn't a game to the khaleesi, though she could understand why he'd responded the way he did; she was a young girl, clad in animal furs and leathers, barefoot and petite. Even she would have pegged herself for helpless if she was in his position. She guessed she truly was helpless, but instead of conceding, she merely reminded herself, I am the blood of the dragon, and she felt stronger for it.

Daenerys was perfectly fine with doing just that and she showed as much by letting him take the steps up to the Synthesis shop while she went the other way to take the huge, wooden door to the second district. The Targaryen girl managed this without much event and though the second district was darker, more deserted than the first, she made her way through the streets to the large building that had the same 'HOTEL' lettering as the message she'd been given by the moogles. Dany walked right up to the entrance and stepped inside, grateful that she'd found the place. She hoped to bathe and sleep, since she hadn't time to do much of either since before her husband had died.

But while Dany was expecting something similar to the inside setup of an inn, what she found seemed more akin to a shop of some sort and her surprise at finding such a place was evident on her expression, brows raised and violet eyes wide as she took in her surroundings. No, this did not seem like an inn at all, honestly.

Dany felt the color go out of her face when she recognized the cold young man with the scar she'd exchanged curt words with just moments ago. "I do not need directions," she insisted, but then frowned with displeasure anyway. "I had opened the door to the inn in the second district of this town. Why I am here instead is just as much of a surprise to me as it is to you."

The girl felt much the same way as he did - annoyed and uninterested in trading barbs - so she merely disregarded his only word to her, moving away to try again for the hotel. When she stepped back outside the shop, she saw that she really was back in the first district again and she had no idea why. Was there something... enchanted about this village that she wasn't aware of? She took the opportunity to ask one of the moogles, but they seemed just as much in disbelief of her claims as the scarred man was.

With a sigh, Dany traveled again the same route to the inn, but this time she stood outside the doors for several long moments, trying to decide if it would be worth it to try crossing the threshold of the actual hotel. She wasn't afraid so much as she was determined to figure out this odd puzzle that was presented before her.

At long last, she decided to try at least once more and this time she was rewarded with being able to step foot inside the hotel. She checked into a room, had her blissfully hot bath, and lay beneath the
