Having learned of the events of Cyrus's disappearance and the subsequent rescue mission, Saleh headed for the Coliseum as quickly as he could. While he didn't know Frog or Cyrus, he had spoken briefly with Hades, who hadn't really earned his approval. Perhaps the kidnapping didn't concern him directly, but how can he just stand by knowing that someone was in trouble?

When he arrived at the Coliseum, Saleh quickly entered to catch up with Frog.

"Hey...I hope I'm not too late."

Kain had been waiting for something like this to happen. Maybe he even wanted for some sort of rescue party to come along so that he could have the satisfaction of beating them up. This side of him was even more prone to violence than usual, after all, wanted to taunt and destroy his enemies at all costs.

So as soon as he saw the rescuers approaching, a cruel expression came across his face. He grabbed his spear and headed off to face them.

"It took long enough."

Golbez stood some distance behind Kain, and did not move forward to block the intended rescuers the way the dragoon did, though he rested his attention on them. He remained silent through both Kain's words and Hades' statement and heckling. Only when they had finished speaking did he step forward, lightning crackling around his hands.

"Do you believe you can rescue your friend?" He said, staring directly at Frog.

Frog didn't so much as glance behind him as Saleh arrived; his attention was focused solely on his enemies ahead. "As do I," he said, with no small amount of bitterness. Hopefully neither were too late to save him ( ... )

The Lord of the Dead sat back and watched this little scene play out from his safe throne room deep in the Underworld. It was like a little game… who would be able to make it to where Cyrus was being held and would they even make it in time? The Underworld did have a bad effect of hero-types. Too long down here and who knows what might happen!

It was with a wicked smile, though it could not be seen, that he addressed the rescuers and whomever else might be listening to the Underworld’s version of a PA system.

“The simpler way to get your friend back is just to complete the deal we settled on earlier… You know, none of this would have happened if you had just kept your promise, Frog. It is all your fault that Cyrus got pulled into this situation.”

Salt in the wound, of course he would rub this in.

“So why don’t all you hero-types try to do something useful for once, just turn around, and let Frog settle his own debts.”

[OOC: Hades will be heckling from the sidelines (right now), since I have a lot of RL stuff going on and I ( ... )
