Ami, as usual, was early, book in hand to spend the inevitable time waiting before Usagi arrived - and quite possibly some of the others. She couldn't help a fond smile anyway.

She'd been quite content to agree to come, just as they'd always met back home, just as they'd even always been able to simply gather together with a phone call. It felt natural to come together. However, she reminded herself, if Setsuna was calling this meeting, it was likely to be something serious. She should pay close attention to that.

Makoto wasn't too late, and she'd even packed snacks. Not much, but enough for all of them to eat comfortably. Even Usagi. Okay, so it was a lot in that case.

Seeing Ami and Haruka, Makoto waved with a large smile. As much as she wanted to keep away from "research" and things involving studying and schooling, she was looking forward to everyone being gathered again. They were her family, and she always wanted them around her.

"Hey, you two!"

"Setsuna-san," Ami was serious as always. "Can you please tell us what you wanted to discuss?" She'd been worried since receiving that summons. Had their enemy begun to move? Had something else happened?

Of course, she wasn't too far being Haruka. Michiru approached with a tight smile on her lips, and took her place next to her partner in crime, lifting a hand to rest just under her chin. "Yes, I'm quite curious myself."

"Ah, I will explain!" Setsuna nodded. "The point of investigation is nearby. We just need to wait for Usagi, Minako and Rei."

"Very well." She couldn't, after all, force Setsuna to tell them; it would be rude, and besides, it would force her to have to explain everything twice. Ami found herself glancing about the room, half looking for the others.

Makoto nudged Ami's shoulder gently, hoping to reassure her. The others would come. They always came, no matter how late Usagi was.

Michiru smiled, looking around the area. "It would even be out of character for Usagi-chan to be on time, anyway," she teased.
