[Before the store had official opened it’s doors, the shelves were stocked, the flowers arranged and everything looked pristine. The advertisements had gone out a few days prior, the opening having been slightly delayed by the nightmare ducks but now there was nothing further to hinder them. The business partners each expected differing results today. In a few minutes or so they would finally see who was right. Little did the young Earl know just how much advertising Chloe had accomplished in his spare time. The White Rose opened it’s doors early in the morning and by afternoon it was packed with potential customers. Oddly enough… most if not all of them appeared to be female.]

That’s the man I was telling you about!

[One of the girls whispered excitedly to her friends]

[I see what you mean…

[Don’t just stand over here.. Go over there and introduce us!

[The gaggling bunch of girls timidly started to approach one of the owners. It looked like he was tending to some flowers and had already drawn a fair amount of attention from the competition]

“Guten Tag, ladies.”

The girl’s blushed and giggled as school girls tend to do when they suddenly discover they have a crush on someone.

“Are you interested in flowers? Maybe I could suggest one?”

The girls are only too willing to allow him to, agreeing easily enough with several happy nods.

“For you,” a small shy looking girl on the end, “Amaryllis. A flower that began as a shy timid nymph but due to her love for a beautiful Sheppard became a gorgeous red flower.”

“Oh!” The girl exclaimed as she turned as red as the flower Chloé had just named her after and looked away trying to hide her love struck smile

The gaggle of girls were all impressed and they each wanted their turn.

"Do mine next!"

"No me!"

If Chloe wasn't careful he was going to have a cat fight on his hands as all the girls tried to get his attention away from the others. At first this had been a mission just for the one girl but it spiraled into this.

Crowd control. It wasn’t something he was unused to.

"Beruhigen ladies," calmly stated, Chloé was doing a much better job of managing this situation than poor Ciel was. "There should be time for several more of you and the rest..."

An adorable smile and a momentary pose with a rose, "You may always return another day. It makes this store all the more beautiful if it is filled with lovely customers like you."

Chloe handled the situation like a seasoned professional.

The reply seemed to sate the girls as they decided to focus more on Chloe and what he was saying.

Some squeals arose from the crowd as they took in those sweet words. He'd pretty much guaranteed that they would be back, even if they did get their flower picked today.

[ Strolling in from the street, and having used Setsuna's handy dandy world hopping key, Usagi's eyes behold the wonders that is the the flower shop. The flowers are lovely, and the sparkle in her eyes show it but once she finds the display of red roses off to the side her attentions are completely taken.

So, she walks until she's standing in front of them, letting her hands linger on the red petals as her heart warms and aches at the same time at the sight of them. ]

A red rose… the symbol of romantic love…

[An elegant British accented voice interrupts her thoughts. Chloé was well versed in the meaning of flowers so he found it interesting the lady was instantly drawn to these. ]

Perhaps you have some one whose happiness you are wishing for?

Eh?

[ Usagi blinks once, looking up curiously as her attentions are grabbed. ... Minako-chan would like this guy! When she's asked about the red rose, she can't help but smile happily before looking back at them. ]

Mmm. That's easy! My boyfriend!

[A boyfriend. Chloeacute; smiled. That would more than explain her interest in the flower. ]

Has he managed to make his way here?

[Meaning, 'out of the darkness'. ]

[ The brief pause should be answer enough. Still, it'd be rude if she didn't say anything! ]

No, but I'm sure he'll show up soon!

[ Usagi's keeping her faith that her Prince will show. ]

[Of course he would show up. ]

He would have to be very foolish indeed, if he didn’t follow such a beautiful lady to this world.

[Boyfriend what? Chloé still flirts with her anyway. Its harmless enough though.]

[ Awww look at that. Usagi's blushing at the flirting. ]

Well, normally I'm the one that's late! But, we always find each other so I'm okay if he isn't here yet.

That is very brave of you.

[Many would fall apart being so far away from their loved ones. ]

When he does arrive you should make certain to direct him here. A bouquet of flowers to apologize for being so tardy would only be reasonable.

[Oh thank gawd, a normal person. Someone's whose attention is focused on the flowers. He's hesitant to interrupt her but it is better than going back over to the counter]
