At the Cash Register

Ciel stood behind the counter attempting to run the cash register. The bad thing about only having two people running a store was that he couldn’t just hide in the back room and delegate all of the work to some one else. No, he actually had to be out front… helping…
At least he didn’t expect there to be much of a crowd. It was the opening day, there really wouldn’t be that many customers, right?
Wrong.
As soon as the doors opened a throng of screaming fan girls charged inside the small shop, soon filling it to standing room only.
“It’s Ciel, right!”
“Oh he is cute!”
“I wonder why he wears an eye patch?”
“Look over here!!”
“You should take it off so we can see your pretty eyes!”
“I’d like these, please.”
“KAWAIII!!!!!” Screamed in the stereo sound of multiple girls swooning at the same time

“Ciel! Can I take a picture with you?” One of the more rambunctious girls asks as she pushes her way forward through the crowd to confront Ciel at the counter.
She was taller than him, but… who wasn’t? She held her camera up to snap a photo even is he hasn’t agreed yet. Though she did want a picture of her and him together, to show off to her friends at school.
Don’t ask why guys running a flowershop makes them suddenly idol worthy, but some how in this case it did.

"Absolutely not--!" He shouted finally losing his temper but she still flashed that camera. The flash was so bright that it forced him to shut his eye and when he finally opened it brightly colored spots dotted the space in front of him. This was ridiculous! Never in all his years as a business owner did he ever witness such pandemonium in the past.

He decided, right then and there... that he would hire a staff ASAP. Then he would never have to experience this again.

With Ciel blinded it was the girl’s chance to strike, making her way behind the counter, wrapping an arm around Ciel, and getting another set of photos snapped by some of her friends.

“I can’t believe you just did that, Sarah!”
“You are so bold!”
“I couldn’t help it, he is just so cute!”

With a smile she turns back to Ciel, "Thank you, Ciel!" And she is away, laughing about her, to her, very important triumph.

Oh his hatred had a new target, and it was Sarah. Before he knew what was going on her arm was around him. He tried to free himself but it was to no avail. Ciel HATED to be touched, absolutely HATED it. Not that these monsters cared about that.

He didn't draw an easy breath until the psycho was gone.

Not all of the girls were that aggressive. While all did squeal and blush when Ciel happened to look their way, most were very respectful of the personal distance issue. There were only a few people like Sarah who wanted to get closer, but even they weren’t quite as pushy as Sarah was. At least Ciel had only developed one mortal enemy.

One mortal enemy and the desire to hire someone to replace himself in the front of the shop.
