WHAT: Crow's going to Neverland to get away from the IDPD and the people who try to stop him from stealing and being himself. Before he does he's going to make a visit to the guy who most recently stymied him

Except someone was home. Namely the owner. Cloud heard Crow come in as soon as he had shut the door but given that his sword was in the living room by the door, he couldn't outright try and stop the intruder just yet. Mostly because it was easy to see who it was.

Instead, he waited in the shadows. Waiting.

Yeah, the orange hair does tend to give him away more than he cares to admit.

Anyhow, here's Crow, tiptoeing around, until finally he catches what he's looking for. The sword! It's huge, and covered in...band aids? Well, whatever, it's what he's there for!

And with that he tiptoes over to the sword, intending to pickpocket it from the owner. He couldn't help but marvel at his luck!

"You sure you can pick that up?" Cloud finally said, casually leaning against the door frame to the leaving room.

"What the-"

Crow swerved around and let out a squeak. What!? That jerk was here!?

"HA!" Quickly he gets his bravado back. "The Bullet can swipe anything!"

And with that he goes to pick the sword up. And...tries again. And grunts as he tries to use both hands to pull it from its resting place.

"Nnn-NNNRNGGGH!!"

Of course he was here, Cloud lived there.

Cloud stood where he was, watching the kid try and "swipe" his sword. And utterly fail multiple times. "Not so much of a Bullet, are you?"

"Shut up!" Crow grunted as he tried - and failed - to pick up the Buster Sword. "I've got this!"

"Sure, I can see that," He walked past Crow and into the kitchen, turning the light on. He reached into his cabinet to pull out some instant flavored coffee and filling the pot with hot water.

"Coffee?"

There was really only one response Crow could have to such a...random request.

"Huh? You're offering me...what!?"

"You aren't getting that sword out of here," Cloud shrugged, turning around to cross his arms and lean against the counter. "And there is nothing of value here. Either you leave now empty handed or you can have something warm to drink before you leave empty handed."

"Why you...!" Have a finger in your face, Cloud. "That's cheating! C'mon, you can't just bolt your stuff down!!"

[ofthefall]

Cloud blinked at the finger in his face before calmly sipping his coffee. "Even if it were actually bolted, it would be my choice. It's my sword, not yours."

Meaning, Crow, if you look closely, it's bolted in any way, shape, or form.

"What?!" Was it more of that stupid magic crap that everyone but him, of course had!? "Well, th...that's still cheating! I should be able to take your sword without some dumb enchantment or curse or whatever on it!"

IT'S SUPPOSE TO NOT BE BOLTED, WTF FINGERS.

"There isn't any of that either," Cloud replied, though he did have magic. Just not the kind that kept his sword plastered to the wall, so to speak.

"Then how come I can't lift it!?" That finger is still pointed and shaking right at Cloud. "I'm not some weakling! I've lifted lots of heavy stuff!!"

Cloud shrugged. "I trained hard to be able to lift it. It wasn't easy. You aren't a weakling for not being able to lift it. I'm the only one in Radiant Garden who can use it."

Crow didn't have a response for that. Save, of course, for a surly teenaged glare.
