Isn't that like, a lifetime in internet age? No wonder I feel so old...

I'll have had this journal for six years in nine days!

It's like dog years, innit? So by that, I've been on for 8 odd years, so...56 human years and you're 42! You're the meaning of life. I don't know whether to be alarmed or amused!

Yeah. And I can't seem to get my *writes* on lately. I scrapped my Clockworld thing -- I got about 8K in and realised I'd screwed up my own continuity, and tried to fix it, which meant other things had to be changed and moved around, and then they didn't work and ugh. (And the other story had no plot whatsover, so, yeah.)

I'm supposed to be writing a pitch for something, but the bit I dislike most of the idea is one of the parts I have to keep, so that's going nowhere. And I really need to script a couple of issues of a thing, but they keep coming out way more screwball comedy than the first issue and I don't know how to change the first issue to match. (I've really got to stop agreeing to write things for people.)

Plus I've been trying to write this stupid Teddy/Victoire fic that I should have been able to knock out in a week, ten days or so, for a month and I still haven't got to the end of the first quarter. In fact, February? I average 245 words a day. 245.

*moan moan moan blah blah blah*

Oh god, I am right there with you. I've got about 10K words on my Clockworld, and I've stopped, b.c I had no idea what I was trying to say and where I was going. I've got only a very tenuous idea at best, but I'm seriously thinking of scrapping most of it and starting it again. Those 10K words were like pulling teeth, plus I was annoyed by life at the time, so that didn't help. Too annoyed to concentrate on writing = shit product.

Plus a piece I've got to fix that was done on spec, have to get that done, double-checked then sorted and off before the 15th and instead of doing any of that stuff that needs to be done, what am I doing? Writing my nano novel. Priorities, I lost them.

245 words in Feb is better than my count. I think I got just over 100 and gave up.

In conclusion, someone has stolen our writing mojo and they should give it back.

I've reached the point where I can't write anything because this one stupid fic keeps getting in the way.

Everyone seems to have lost their mojo! I think it's being sucked up by Stepehenie Meyer to drive Twilight.

Stephenie Meyer needs to have all writing implements taken away from her stat.

And then her hands tied down, in case she manages to scratch words into things with her fingernails.
