Hey, guys!
First order of business: if you're in the mood for something cheesy and hilarious, I recommend Madagascar for the American Beauty spoof, the ridiculously obnoxious King Lemur, and the refreshing lack of musical numbers. I like to move it (move it)! There are some surprisingly risque bits, but none of the kids seemed traumatized, so s'all good.
But my real reason for writing is that it's that time again. Summer is nigh, and I need some serious readage for this year.
So. Recommend me some pages. If you recommend something I love, hot sex for you (not necessarily from me, but I'll send a hooker). If you recommend something I end up despising, NO hot sex. Death. Only death.
So far, my list consists of:
1. Bless Me, Ultima, Fences, King Lear, and One Hundred Years of Solitude - these get lumped together 'cause they're required for next year.
2. Dante's Divine Comedy.
3. The Gay Science by Friedrich Nietzche. (What philosophy do you recommend, Dane?)
4. The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien.
Obviously, I need help.
