Contest time!
Recommend 3 books for me to read this summer, regardless of length. I know the whole "out of the goodness of your hearts" angle doesn't often work, especially among teenagers (come on, admit it...we're a selfish bunch), so in order to get the maximum out of this, the person who picks the book I end up liking the most will win a prize. I haven't figured out what it will be yet, except that it will a) not be a metaphorical, truth-within-thyself sort of "prize", because I hate that much as any other person, and b) be really, really cool.
This is for all of you. So far I've only read three relatively decent books this summer (I Never Promised You A Rose Garden, A Tree Grew in Brooklyn, and Border Lines), and am dying for some sort of epic literary masterpiece. Or anything, for that matter.
