FIRST BEST FRIEND:
karen willams, she lived on my childhood street in vancouver and was a year older than i was. we were pretty fickle friends though, the way little kids can be.
FIRST FIGHT:
an early one that stands out in my memory is the only time i can remember laura p. and i fighting. it was summer '95 and we were playing mario 3. we'd been hanging out basically every day since the summer began and we were getting on eachothers nerves ... she said something and i responded by winging a full can of diet coke at her. she flung it right back. she stormed out, and we both had a cry, and i called her 20 minutes later like "im sorry. wanna come back up and play mario 3?" and she did. :)

FIRST FUNERAL:
ive been to three. first two were for my dad's parents. we were never very close, not like my mom's parents, who i consider my gran and granda.
FIRST PET:
a golden retriever named Sheba. she was a puppy when i was a baby, and we grew up together.
FIRST BIG TRIP:
well, big for me was this trip my family and i took to kelowna one summer. i was 6 or 7. i remember thinking kelowna was a tropical paradise like hawaii or something, cuz it was so hot and different than anything i'd ever seen.
FIRST CELEBRITY CRUSH:
alot of you know the definitive answer to that one. wil wheaton, aka wesley crusher. i was obsessed with him. (also worth noting: the first time i ever realized i had inclinations towards girls was when i developed a huge crush on mel. c of the spice girls.)
FIRST TIME OUT OF THE COUNTRY:
trip to disneyland, when i was 8.
