Update on living with daughter

I'm still alive. SHE'S still alive. That's saying something. Ohhhh, you don't know how much that's saying something. I have had my brother from Virginia and my oldest brother from just south of Annapolis come up several times to deliver truckloads of stuff so that we can try to make a home. And there's still more to go get. Ex-boyfriend has been a rock of support. Friend who sheltered me between August and December has been more than generous - she was "Santa" for the girls' Christmas. Everyone has been amazing, and nothing has gone by the wayside in my attention - I have seen the sacrifices made to help us try to make a go of it. I need a better job - I have put some new office attire on layaway and I just got my hair trimmed and shaped. Getting the job is the tricky part - let's not forget that I'm nearly 60 years old and there's a lot I can't do, like lift much over 40 lbs - but there's still much I can do. Just trying to find the Right Spot.

Right now I'm borrowing my son's wifi while he plays an online computer game with some online friends. But it's getting late and I need to go back to the apartment and get ready for bed.

We are making it one day at a time. I'm not happy about the situation but I'm going to try to make the best of it. At least I still have a job.
