Okay, so it's not enough that I have a hole in my head. Now I have car issues.
"Hole in my head" refers to the fact that I have a really bad tooth. I'm desperately trying to get my dental insurance, and I might actually have it in a week or so. It's still gonna cost; they're recommending a root canal.
"Car issues". This is a new one. The battery light came on today while I was making my way home. It flickers off when I'm going at high revs while in gear, but eventually it comes back on. I was hoping it would be something as simple as needing a new battery, but since when does my life come at me as simple?
I took it to Sears to get it checked out, and maybe a new battery. They say the battery is fine, and it starts okay. They did notice that there's an excessive drop in charge when it's running, and referred me to an electrical specialist. I might need a new alternator.
Just once, I'd like my problems to have simple solutions.
