Changes ...

The last few weeks have been full of tying knots and tidying up messes in order to make a smooth transition. Then time to hit the ground running and be busy learning new things and remembering how to do technical tasks that I haven't been required to do in almost four years. Things are starting to take on the semblance of routine now, and I must admit that I actually enjoy my daily toil for the monies. I feel engaged, curious, and very satisfied with my contributions to the organization and the compensation that the organization returns to me. I actually feel like a grown-up person with a career.

And it looks like I will be sent to Boston in April for a conference. Can I say "Meeeeeeep!"?
